Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

The popularity of Korean skincare doesn't seem to be slowing down or stopping any time soon and I'm quite glad. Sheet masks are becoming increasingly more available in the UK, so now its even easier to get your hands on them! However, they do seem to be a little bit on the pricey side occasionally, so when I saw the Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, I knew I had to pick a few up.

It is described as a 'Super-hydrating revitalising mask for dehydrated skin. Intensely rehydrates skin, reduces the look of fine lines, and revives radiance. Enriched with pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid, and plant serum.' As we all know hyaluronic acid is an essential ingredient for people with dry skin, being able to lock in extreme moisture keeping you skin plump and youthful. The pomegranate extract is an antioxidant which aids in the repair of your skin, leaving it revitalised. It also boast claims of providing moisture equivalent to 1 week use of moisturiser and with my dry skin this sheet mask sounds like an absolute god send.

This mask is a little bit different to the more classic asian sheet masks as it has two layers: the sheet mask and a blue protective film, which you peel off once you have smoothed the mask on. As it is able to provide you with a weeks worth of moisture in 15 minutes, it is extremely rich in texture and I personally think a little bit excessive in volume, but it is just a great treat when you want a little luxurious pick me up during some down time to yourself. The shape of the face mask is much larger than your typical  sheet mask but it does make it more easily adjustable to your face.

I hope more sheet face masks become available in the UK, because I already love this one!

How do you feel about sheet mask popularity on the rise?
